Fuel flow changes for Ducati and Bimota ahead of Assen, WorldSSP and WorldSPB homologated bikes updated
Ducati and Bimota will both face a 0.5kg/h Fuel Flow penalty following the latest Concession Checkpoint
After the latest Concession Checkpoint (Checkpoint 2), the FIM has determined that both Ducati and Bimota have exceeded the MSMA performance threshold defined in Article 2.4.3.2 of the regulations. As a result, both manufacturers will face a 0.5 kg/h Fuel Flow penalty for Assen.
Elsewhere, two manufacturers have had their bikes homologated for 2026. In WorldSSP, the QJMOTOR SRK 800 RS has had its homologation released, and is therefore not suspended anymore. In WorldSPB, the Kove 450RR has completed Phase 2 homologation. Ahead of Portimao, it had been announced that the QJMOTOR machine had its homologation suspended due to non-compliance with FIM regulations regarding this, while Kove had been unable to complete Phase 2 homologation due to a logistical and customs problem.
